In 2023, United Way of CNY Board Members Bill Patrick and Drew Derrenbacker golfed 102 holes in one day, in honor of the organization’s 102 years of impact. Each year they’ve returned to Cavalry Club and added one more hole to their golf marathon, raising more than $60K in the process. On June 24, 2026, they’re returning to the Cavalry Club for 105 holes, and with help of four foursomes of friends they’re aiming to raise even more green for United Way of CNY.

Bill and Drew created “Raising the Green” in 2023 to help fund the important work United Way does to support the spectrum of human need in our community — hunger, education, homelessness, and mental health – to mention just a few. You can help support United Way, in honor of their golf marathon, with a pledge.
