A Critical Moment

A Message from Our President:

United we stand. Divided we fall.

This is a critical moment for our community and our nation.

We are challenged by a pandemic that has nearly exhausted our resources and our resolve. It’s cost hundreds of lives in our community, and dramatically changed the way we live. And yet, we persist. The county, city, and state have rallied with community organizations and our unassailable local healthcare systems to meet COVID-19 at every front, and work towards a better tomorrow.

We are challenged by division on partisan lines. Last week’s events at the Capitol building could shake our resolve. Or, it can become a turning point for our nation. As Americans, I hope we can find inspiration to act in the words of Abraham Lincoln, “With malice toward none; with charity for all.”

For every challenge we face, there is a solution: to be united.

When we work together as a community, when we give where we live, when we care about our neighbors like family, we can – and will – stand together.

United, we do more.
