United Way 100th Anniversary Poster

One hundred years ago, a group of business, community and civic leaders gathered in Downtown Syracuse to formalize a commitment to care for people in need through the creation of the Syracuse Community Chest. One century later, the work continues, but that organization is now known as United Way of Central New York.

In honor of our 100th Anniversary, award winning local illustrator David Owens has created an original print to celebrate the occasion, imagining Salina Street as it appeared in 1921 —  complete with trolley cars, Model T’s and the familiar “The Heart of Syracuse” on the McCarthy Building.

Help us continue the legacy of caring in our community, with a $25 donation (plus shipping) and we’ll send you a copy of this original artwork.

The print measures 11 x 17″ and is printed on a heavy-duty matte stock by Syracuse-based Upstate Printing. It will be rolled and shipped in a heavyweight cardboard mailing tube.
